Aunty Esme is a Bangerang, Wiradjuri and Taungurung woman, community advocate, educator, researcher and writer.

She is an inspirational leader and has made major contributions to the understanding of how to conduct research with Aboriginal communities ethically and thoroughly, with a view to real-life benefits for research participants.

Aunty Esme has been CEO of the Aboriginal Advancement League since 2008, is also the Senior Pastor of Barak Christian Ministries and the first woman President of the Fitzroy Stars Football and Netball Club.

She also founded a family partnership called Neenann which provides cultural awareness training, education consultancy, research, professional development, and graphic design.
