[Angélica Claro Canteros] es una narradora argentina nacionalizada mexicana, dramaturga, directora teatral, música y catedrática de literatura y actuación en la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León uanl. Fue miembro de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Bahía Blanca, en Argentina, y de la Orquesta de la Ópera de Turín, en Italia.
Premio nacional de dramaturgia en su país, en los años de 1987 y 1997. En México, obtuvo el Premio de Guión Cinematográfico concedido por la Univeridad Nacional Autónoma de México unam y el Instituto de la Revolución Mexicana inehrm, en el año de 1993. Fue finalista en el Premio Nuevo León de Literatura 2003 por su primera novela.
Tanto sus obras dramáticas como sus puestas en escena han sido motivo de distinciones en Colombia, Venezuela y México. Ha publicado artículos y ensayos de carácter teatral, literario, histórico y antropológico en Argentina, Cuba, Estados Unidos y México.
[Angélica Claro Canteros] is an Argentine storyteller who became a Mexican citizen, playwright, theater director, musician, and professor of literature and acting at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL). She was a member of the Bahía Blanca Symphony Orchestra in Argentina and the Turin Opera Orchestra in Italy.
National Prize for playwriting in her country, in the years 1987 and 1997. In Mexico, she won the Prize for Film Scriptwriting awarded by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and the Institute of the Mexican Revolution (INEHRM), in 1993. She was a finalist in the Nuevo León Prize for Literature 2003 for her first novel.
Both her dramatic works and his stage productions have been the subject of awards in Colombia, Venezuela and Mexico. She has published articles and essays on theatrical, literary, historical and anthropological topics in Argentina, Cuba, the United States and Mexico.
