Nació en Purificación, Jalisco, en agosto de 1916. Ha publicado varios libros, de poesía y narrativa, todos en ediciones limitadas. Los principales son: Amante imaginado (1947), Retrato de una niña triste, Premio Jalisco de Novela 1951; Antología Universal de Lecturas Infantiles (1952), Entre el infierno y la luz (1953), Los amantes y la noche (1953) y La muerte es una ciudad distinta, quinto volumen de los Libros del Unicornio publicados por Juan José Arreola, Editor, en 1959.
She was born in Purificación, Jalisco, in August 1916. She has published several books of poetry and fiction, all in limited editions. The most important ones are: Imagined Lover (1947), Portrait of a Sad Girl, Jalisco Novel Prize 1951; Universal Anthology of Children’s Readings (1952), Between Hell and Light (1953), Lovers and the Night (1953) and Death is a Different City, fifth volume of the Unicorn Books published by Juan José Arreola, Editor, in 1959.
